The day progresses

We just finished our third film of the day. After Strange Culture we saw Expired, starring Samantha Morton and Jason Patric. Not bad, not great. Matt and Shiri liked it a lot but it seemed pointlessly depressing to me, although Samantha Morton was awesome as usual.

Next we saw Delirious, a fun, kinda not indie movie starring Michael Pitt, Steve Buscemi (brilliant in this), Gina Gershon and Alison Lohman. It was funny and really entertaining.  It was about a homeless guy who befriends a paparazzo and then falls in love with a big popstar. It centers around the kid's relationship with his friend and deals with themes of fame and family and more. Highly recommended.

Now wee about to see The Savages. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is two rows behind me.
