I forgot to mention earlier that we worked things out with the place we are staying. The guy still scares the crap out of us but he took our money and agreed to give us a receips which was all we wanted in the first place.

Now we are stocking up on groceries at Albertsons. I am typing this by Blackberry from the long line to check out. Gotta love modern technology, right?
