The Great Salt Lake
We are driving west on the 80 on our way to the salt flats.
It is SO FREAKING COLD!!
Believe it or not, after visiting Salt Lake City no fewer than 15 times in my life, I just today had my first glimpse of the great salt lake.
Our hotel, called the Ramada Limited, was so crappy. The hallways smelled like sewage, and we had to change rooms twice due to non-functioning heat. We convinced them to take $30 off of the room rate, but still. Ugh.
In what could be somewhat dangerous news, we have learned there casinos ten minutes from where we are now headed. And we are running an hour ahead of schedule. Hmmm...
